20. After deleting your outliers click on Solve Camera Motion again.

• If your solve error in the upper right

is below or near 1.0 then proceed forward.

• If it’s still too high then repeat step 19 to delete outlier trackers.

Transferring the info into

the 3D Viewport

21. Split your window in half

• Go to the top right wedge between the Movie Clip Editor window and the Outliner until your mouse cursor becomes a white plus sign.

• Then hold down your left mouse button and drag down to “pull out” another window about half way down.

22. In the Upper Left Corner of the new window click on the target sights icon (editor type).

• In the new popup menu select 3D Viewport

• Then with your cursor still in the top window hit the zero

key on the number pad for camera view.

23. After bringing your error number down below or close to 1.0 and splitting your window go to the bottom of the left panel (solve tab).

Under Scene Setup select:

• Set as Background

• Setup Tracking Scene

• Set as Background will bring in your video to the camera view.

• Setup Tracking Scene will bring in your tracking data to the 3D Viewport.

• The Orientation menu above Scene Setup can be used to orient your 3D Viewport origin to the floor in the video. For this project, that will not be necessary.

24. Join your two windows so that we close the movie clip editor window.

• Hover your mouse over the

edge of the panel that divides the 3D Viewport and the Movie Clip Editor until the mouse cursor becomes double sided arrow.

• Then Right Click

• From the Popup Menu Join Area.

• Move your mouse down into the Movie Clip Editor window.

• An arrow should appear.

• Left click to overtake the bottom window.

25. Delete the Plane and Cube from the 3D Viewport Window.

• Left Click one, then hit

the X or Delete Key.

• Select Delete from the

popup menu.

• Repeat the step for the

other object.
